Abstrak

Supervision and monitoring of general elections (Pemilu) are essential prerequisites for ensuring that they are conducted honestly, fairly, democratically, and with quality. A crucial component of election oversight is the monitoring of the election process by community groups or civil society. One such group is university students. As educated citizens, students can play a crucial role in monitoring the election process. This paper analyzes the strategic role of students as part of civil society groups in monitoring the general election process. The existence of monitoring processes carried out by civil society, including students, can influence the quality and integrity of the election process. This paper uses a qualitative research method, utilizing library sources and tracking scientific journals and online media.
